Neither does the shower when ya want, for however long ya want.

the one thing I remember enjoying ..after the five girls were grown and gone....was being able to purchase name brand shampoo, etc.

Now that I have retired and dh is out of work...........I now learn from you gals to make my own things if at all possible. You all are a lifesaver!!

Hmmm... now you have me thinking, though. I do have a Dr. appt on Monday... maybe I'll take half the day off so I can start working on getting some of this stuff done!

Hello, I'm very new to this site. It's sofar been alittle confusing, lol. But I'm working my way thru. I'm a happily married mom with 2 kids. I've posted my blog in my signature but can't figure out how to link it. lol. But anyway.......
Currently I'm working on a knitted booga bag that I'll be felting. I bought the yarn for myself as I was shopping with my sisters and my youngest sister pointed out how nice it would look made into a bag. So I told her yah, yah, lolthere went me plans to make another scarf for me, lol. I'll get more of the yarn for myself another day. I'll feel guilty if i don't make it for her BUT it will be a christmas gift she'll have to wait for.

I've also been working on some crocheted valentines pins I'm hoping to gift them anonymously, to people or places.
I also have a knitted dish cloth started of I think it's a paw print. I printed out the pattern but didn't print the picture, lol. So that will be a surprise, lol.
Well I think I've told enough of what I've been up to for now. I hope you'll take some time to check out my blog, maybe leave a comment and share any blogs you may have.

I'm making a quilt for Kute Kittens high school graduation (8 years away). I thought as I have never quilted before I should start now to make sure I have time to get it done. I'll only have winters to work on it and figure if I get it done early I can put it away, better than not having it done. I will need 165 squares and have 60 made. I couldn't wait any longer to see how it looks and how it would go piecing it together so I did the first 4 rows.

Can you see all the square designs in the quilt?

Black is the squares I'm making.
Purple is four of the original squares put together.
Pink is the diamond within the Purple square.

It is going really well! I sure hope it keeps going well!
