Crafters- What are you making???

Oh no Acre!! Now I'm getting it from here too! DH has been asking me for about 2 yrs. now to make covers for his reloading equipment. He is getting so frusterated over it that he put a sign over them :

This is in our living room, so I see it ALL the time!

I also had made him a seat cover for his tractor that he wanted altered-it is STILL sitting here(not my fault actually, I need him to pick up elastic), I have it all ready to go as soon as I get the elastic.

Now I HAVE to get busy on these, someone is trying to tell me something!

In between working on tieing Kute Kitten's quilt, I have been working on a poncho for Peanut. She is out growing her old one. No pattern for this either. I was going to use one of Kute Kitten's for a pattern but, I didn't like the way those were layed out. So, I layed Peanut's old one down and resized it. This one is for around the farm. I have a real pretty purple fleece that I'm going to make one for good for her-still have to wash it.

That's pretty, Acre! Hmmm... now you have me wanting to make a cover for my antique stand mixer! Maybe one of these days...

Kitty, that is a cute poncho!

Working on the spare room curtains now finally. I'm hoping to get the livingroom ones done this week yet, too.

Acre, what color are your new kitchen curtains going to be?

We are painting blown goose eggs to get a jump on Christmas.

I am working on soaps and lotions and lip balm.

I have quilt pieces to finish cutting.

I need 12 more hands.

I need 12 more hands.

Boy do I understand that feeling!!!! I have quilt pieces cut for a daughter Christmas quilt and my son's girlfriend's Christmas quilt, they will both be simple 9 patch blocks, have over 300 5x5 pieces cut for each...and I have stolen Jacie's Coop's idea of the handmade wooden blanket boxes and my husband is making those to put the quilts in at Christmas. I am trying to get him to commit to making a smaller one for my son to put his pocketknife collection in so then the major kid gifts are done...was easier when all they wanted was toys!!

Prissy, I am def. making the lye soap this year..this summer I think, it is on my agenda to upgrade from the melt and pour soap making this year!! I haven't even made that since before Christmas...12 more hands and 12 more hours in the day..yep that would help!

The fabric will be the same as the bread machine cover. I got a whole roll of the fabric for $2.00 a yard (total $20) It's a very nice thickish fabric and I may make the curtains with a liner on the back of the fabric.

Matter of fact, I love the curtains you put, I think, in you bathroom. I like the style...do you have a pattern you used or did you just cut and sew. Please let me know, I would love that design for the kitchen.

Farmer Kitty---those little ponchos are just to cute. My little one she growing up to fast for me to keep her in them. LOL

I need 12 more hands.

She had a toddler one and then this one is the same size Kute Kitten (10) wears so, it will last a long time to come.

I have Kute Kitten's quilt tied-just need to trim the strings the same length. Then it's fold the edges up and pin to sew. Ran into a snag for sewing though. I forgot to get thread that matches the sheet I used for a backing!

It'll have to wait until I get to town but, at least I can get it ready to sew in the meantime.
