Darn it! I stopped at JoAnn Fabrics yesterday and totally forgot to pick up some crochet hooks!

So much for attempting a rug anytime soon.

We were a town today but, the Wal-mart there doesn't carry material and the fabric store didn't open until noon and we were back home by then so, no backing or binding for the baby quilt and no matching thread for Kute Kitten's quilt.

I would, but WalMart is as far away as a JoAnn's. I live in the boonies and it may be a little while until I get to go anywhere near either of those. We just happened to be going past a JoAnn's yesterday when I was hauling my dad's new (to him... it's a 1970s tractor) tractor and since I was driving we stopped. I needed a little more fabric for the living room curtains. Of course that JoAnn's didn't have the fabric I needed either! lol.

It's probably for the best... I'm supposed to be trying to finish some more curtains! I need to get off BYC and back to my sewing machine!

This gives me hope!

I havent sewn since the 7th grade, except for tree skirt that I did a couple of years ago. It was very simple, no embellishments, only two pieces of fabric, and I made the pattern for the skirt, but I'm proud of it

It's a really pretty sparkly snowflake pattern

Don't ask for pictures SE!!

It's packed away in Christmas stuff!

I make these stained glass creations from old discarded window sashes, I got the '' Faux Stained Glass '' kit at Hobby lobby. Gonna start looking for old windows at garage sales !! Sometimes I can get them from free
