Can I make a suggestion that may help your pictures?
Don't try to get too close to the subject of the photo with your camera. Then before you post the photo use you photo editing program and crop in to just center the subject. You may have a better chance to keep it in focus.

Sorry, that's the photographer coming out of me.

I was a photographer in the Kansas City area for 9 years before we moved back home to Schuyler County. I still do take some wedding photos at times.

Just trying to be helpful

I will either quilt some small ornaments or decorate blown eggs (kind of a hobby of mine) to send home to family.

For my kids and hubby i will knit some socks each, mittens also for the kids.

I dunno. I haven't given it too much thought. I'd better get thinkin about it soon though!!

I'll be sure to make a few of these 'Mean Bags' for my husband as well.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!

The quilted ornaments sound sweet and several folks on this forum, way more talented and patient than me are doing the blown eggs..unfortunately for me there is no market for the ones with the ends blown off, lol!!!

I have some gourd eggs leftover from the year I painted Christmas scenes and college mascots on them for Christmas ornaments..there are wolfpaws and tar heels in nearly all my co-workers offices to this day from my gifts that year, lol!! Those are much more durable and less breakable, lol!!! Wish someone would knit me some socks, I have one pair, nearly worn out, my aunt knitted me years ago that I sleep in, lol!!! Knitted socks and mittens are great gifts. I am still working on crocheted washcloths for my record bowls..have 3 finished so far!!

Happy crafting ya'll and thanks so much for sharing soooo many awesome ideas!!!! Everyday I find something new to add to my ever growing list, lol!!

I keep getting sidetracked from Christmas gifts. Bros birthday is this weekend so I need to get a hat done for him. DD's buddies each want a hat and I've only finished one. Then DD wants one. Maybe then I can get back to Christmas. Please keep the good ideas coming. It's inspiring.

What kind of hat, Hats?!! Knitted or crocheted? Wild says she has her knitting loom out with hats flyin off it lately, I have one I've never used...might have to try that thing if hats are easy to make from it!! My DH & DS both wear them in the winter when working outside...hmmm, my DD MIGHT wear one in her school colors when she goes to class, I will at least see if I can find the thing this weekend and read the directions, lol!!! Yes..."inspired", lol!!! .......like I need any more inspiration!! What I need is more time and less excitement about EVERY craft ya'll list on this thread!!!

Oh, my, you sound just like me.
Been knitting hats lately. I do crochet as well. I haven't tried using a loom yet although I have the round ones. Ugh, now I need to start another project. DD boyfriend asked about his hat last night. Better get knitting.
