I guess we learn the hard way.

Yeah I learned the hard way myself yesterday. i boxed up my box full of eggs (most I have ever sent at one time and it was over $20 to go priority. I will have to increase my shipping fees as well from this day forward.

I don't know. I sent off two boxes today and I couldn't really tell that they were any more than usual. I charge $11 for shipping and these were in the $8-$9 range so I guess my shipping doesn't need to go up any.

I am charing flat rate $12 because of the increase to. I am really really happy with my faverolles flock right now thats why I am not bidding on anyone elses eggs. I am still building my flock but hopefully if I can take them to college with me or have my mom care for them I will end up with my own line of birds. I am mixing all the best bloodlines in the country and I am really excited about it. Hopefully when I am 25 I will still have bantam faverolles from these breeding. I have birds from Hattrick, Rose Isgrig, Jeff Oxley, and I am getting a cockeral from Leisha Comer and a Dick Bourlanger trio and 18 eggs from Leisha Comer! Then the chicks will be mixes between the best from these lines hopefully I will have some awsome faverolles.

I thought the little chit chat was fun on the auction. Maybe when they stopped the chit chat on the other one members lost interest. I know I am and I was having fun

IMO, not many ppl are looking for eggs at the moment because of the post office being closed Monday.

The auctions have always been like that one day they'll be booming the next nothing and I'd say the holiday does have something to do with it too. Hey at least we can flap our Jaws over here and keep ourselves entertained.. LOL

I wish someone would post for layer eggs at least a dozen. My DW would kill me but she's the reason i've become addicted anyway
