so I am still confused as to what to go with on these chicks I hatched!

the small dot and the dark legs, female?
and the large dots are male? I just noticed since they are dry now that some of the black with large dots do have a faint chipmunk pattern??? now I am thoroughly confused!!
not that thats hard to do!! can I try feather sexing them or not?

My sexlink males that I just hatched are a cross from CLxSLC pullets and BCM roo. The males all hatched with large white splotches and they also have faint chipmunk lines on their backs also.

Read to page 27 and called it quits seeing as how I don't even have a CCL and can't have roos thanks to zoning.

I just wanted to say that from a new chicken person perspective, I like the name Easter Legger or Crested Easter Legger for the crosses since it hints to the leghorn body style.

I got my 1st egg today from my Bielefelder Roo x Cream Legbar Hen. It was an olive colored egg.

Pretty much pics or it didnt happen right?

Seriously I would like to see pics of the hen and the egg as this is a cross I have in the incubator right now possibly. Bielefelder roo stole the Cream legbars hens for a bit , we got it all sorted now though.

Does anybody know the genetic diffrences in cuckoo marans and golden cuckoo marans. I want to breed them to my CL roo for olive eggers. But i also want to know if i can breed the regular cuckoos to the golden cuckoo and get more goldens
