Cream Legbar Hybrid Thread

I had previously posted this picture of my hybrid egg green/light Olive egg but since it was with artificial light, I am posting it again right next to Auction Color Chart. Can someone help me determine what color it closely matches on the chart.

Artificial light image above.

Here are the images in natural light (but shade)

Hi Junibutt,

I think that you have placed the egg near the close colors. Frustratingly we seldom have perfect matches--- but you can say 'almost OAC828' or even 'a bit lighter than OAC833' and then I get a better idea looking at my chart - than if you say 'olive egg'.
:O)
Just like beauty, colors are in the eyes of a beholder. lol! I feel its closer to OAC828 or OAC864

Btw do Olive Eggs have their own

Last week I bought 3 light brown leghorn hens . I plan to cross them with my Legbar rooster after quarantine . Super blue layers is the first goal . Later I will breed a cockerel back to them in hopes or a auto sexing crele line of leghorn .

Here is my Olive egg. The shade changes a bit every week, sometimes a bit greener other times a bit browner.

Here is todays egg. This is the closest match I could find on the oac.

edited to add - I thought I was posting on the Olive Egger thread lol. This is not an egg from a Legbar cross.

I would say definitely a boy based on his comb and I can see a definite big white splotch on his head as well. Something I will check for in my other Australorp hybrids.
Can you post a pic of the other Australorp X?

The 2 together... Either they're both boys and ones just a lot smaller or I have one of each...

Yeah, it could be both boys. or they may have inherited the big comb trait from Legbars. I guess you will have to wait couple of more weeks.

That is how I made my rose combed legbars. Legbar x leghorn, pullets bred back to legbar
