Cream Legbars

Thank you! This is my first CL, first flock altogether, so I am still learning about all my breeds. She is one of my more vocal birds, she is starting to crow in the mornings. When I get home ill snap a picture of her. Thanks again

The comb can also change drastically based on the hatch date and location. Birds who are hatched between Oct-March and live in cold climates will have the smallest combs. Warmer climates and times of year produce larger combs for better heat control.

Just wanted to share my CL selfie...this is 'Wildstyle' Shes about 10 weeks now.

This is my Cream Legbar, just over 18 weeks, with her penmate my Olive Egger.
I like your olive egger---she looks like a reap personality. Your CL - doesn't have any male traits that I can see...you may need to sit her down and give her a little talking to. ;O) -- Or maybe it isn't crowing - maybe it is egg song? Is she laying?

Ya I have that talk with her every morning as I let her out I think she just wants out. She hears another rooster from some other property then seems to copy it. But both of them are becoming more vocal, more so than before. She isn't laying yet but I did notice her checking out the oyster shells the other day. My lil Olive Egger does have a funny personality, very nosey. They are both my babies of the flock, my others are a few months older, only one laying so far though.

Well, the final numbers from my hatch are 21 birds out of 24 eggs, all shipped - one early quitter, one late quitter, and one little cockerel who turned and blocked his air supply while zipping :( Found him just a little too late. But anyway, my ratio was phenomenal. 14 pullets and 7 cockerels. Not a bad start to my flock!
