Cream Legbars

I think some others have posted about vision problems with their CCL's. one of mine was acting funny and when I checked her she appears to be blind on side. I have had other hens with one sided blindness, so I plan to just keep an eye on her. I probably won't breed her intentionally since my other hens have better coloring and crests.

I've heard both sides of the fence on that. Do you feel it helps?
Never tried it myself, so I can't help there.

Rinda, I had better results with Nustock on the comb, and increasing air flow in the coop, than vaseline. The crumbly dry looking ends healed right up in under a week.

From what you are saying, then a blind side could be a genetic problem? - My little one with the bad eyesight is getting better at finding what she is pecking for...but still not totally on target. Something to really keep an eye on. And hopefully the hen that had one sided blindness did live o.k. as an ordinary (not breeding stock) chicken. Here is a picture of my one-winged chicken within the last few weeks...
