Cream Legbars

Does anyone have a growth rate chart for CLB chicks. I started weighing mine this weekend and wanted to get some idea if they were in the ball park. Oddly the female was the heaviest.
If you enter the weights on the form on the CL Club's web page -- you create the first record. then the person who takes care of that (me) is supposed to open the spread sheet to you and you can compare by age the different weights that people have entered.

One needn't enter all one's chicks, and one may or may not make all the dates. It is also possible to start at any age -- up to 3-years old where it stops. -- just compute it to pounds and fractions of pounds -- such as a 4-oz chick = .25 -- easy as pie. PM me if you need more info.

Here is my second grouping of chicks, these are from my CL male X 2 different blackbirds hens

2 blonde males / 1 female

I have lost my baby CL. I knew the chances of her living were bad, but I gave it a try.

Hopefully, I will do better on the 2oth. I have 7 that I hope hatch that day.

I'm so sorry to hear that!

Congratulations on all the chicks! They're gorgeous! I'm really curious about your yellow one, though. I am anxious to see how he turns out as he grows.

I haven't taken pictures yet of my full Rees group of chicks I hatched but will maybe later tonight or tomorrow. But I did get a few pics of the yellow one by itself in natural light and also side by side with my other blonde males from a different line. A few of my Rees chicks have a yellow tinge to them so this might be normal for a light Rees male. I will be sure to post as he matures.

Interesting for sure! Since I culled the roosters that were too light, I haven't had as many issues with strange colors. I did get two chicks about like that middle one in the first photo, but that was the lightest color I got. I'm sorry for the lack of pictures. I have such a hard time getting good photos of the adults or the chicks (I just use my phone and don't have another camera).

Got 4 Rees eggs today!

One is a new layer as it is smaller than the other 3 that have been laying for 1-2 weeks

Grats,,, I am happy any day I get a "diamond encrusted Creamette" egg. They seem to be far and few between. One of mine is just starting to lay again after molting and she is not regular yet. ( only have 2)
