Originally my sister wanted one. In the future were going to use it for some experimenting. Not sure how big it'll get though.

I'm not a fan. I don't personally enjoy Silkie crosses.

I love silkies and silkie crosses. To each their own though. It’s the d'Uccles that I don’t like. Poor layers, and their foot feathers get messier than a silkie’s does in a heart beat. When my silkies aren’t broody I get approx. 4+ eggs a week.

My sister has a silkie that'll lay 1 egg everyday for about 3-4 weeks before she goes broody. My D'Uccles lay everyday, and haven't gone broody yet.
