I have been thinking about buying some Blue Ameraucana eggs myself. All I have is black, but the blue would be so pretty. I sold off 6 black hens this past weekend that were not up to what I want in my pens.

1 marans orpington mix pipped (not due until tomorrow hehe)
1 serama pipped (only one there is sadly from this batch)
and one golden comet mix pipped

2 ameraucanas out... the blue one and a black one from the old lines of Crees. The blue is very week but hopefully fine. i candled other eggs and tapped on them and noticed nothing so I broke open the shells all yolk, some had small chick blobs so chicks did devlope in some but didnt make it. One had a dead splash in it

The blue looks fine it just needs to fluff up first

. A marans x orpington from Ninjapoodles is out... needs to fluff up too... theres a fat and happy golden comet chick out already fluffy it's sure gotta lot to say. Seems like the ones i want the most dont make it and the ones I relaly could care less about come out with not a care in the world lol. Theres i think 2 more Cree eggs in there, I think they're both blacks pipped and snoozing

Ninjapoodles- the marans orp chick is yellow with a tint of red over it just like you had mentioned lol! It looks great just needs to dry and fluff.
