Yes, Have you seen any Duckwing\\BBR cochins ? I don't know anyone in the states that have them. You could alway cross to another breed of BBR...but I did not want to do that.

well he's not bbr but he has the duckwing going for him! and he passes on the rounded tush!
my boy Sunny who i have been thinking could be considered a yellow/gold duckwing color since he throws columbian (white) when crossed with buff columbian!

would you think if i tried crossing him over a buff barred hen he might eventually help create the crele? when i put this into the color calculator it shows that i might get black patterned gold columbian barred Split: lemon/cream roos and black patterned gold incomplete-columbian Split: lemon/cream. so it appears that there might be some early color sexing on this crossing!

All I saw was various Columbian patterns, so I am not sure if that would produce Crele? IDK for sure. Just try it and see what comes from it..

Thought I would up date some pictures of my chicks that are coming along. I was really excited to see some blue coming in on the chick in the last pic, and hoping more of them will get some more blue coloring on them.

These babies look JUST like my Crele / Golden Cuckoo Marans chicks. With the marans the light ones are the boys and the dark ones are the girls. I would assume that yours would be the same! I have attached some photos so that you can see what they start out like and what they end up like. The first picture is one of our roosters, the second is one of our hens. The 3rd is a day old pullet and the 4th is a day old cockeral! Good luck with your projects! Its a beautiful color!
