Crele Orpingtons - PIC's

That doesn't sound right.. they won't even take blood from persons who were in England within last few years.. would think they would be restrictive on eggs also- germs CAN be passed on along the surface of eggs also.

In any case.. if there are black breasted red and cuckoo/barred orpingtons in the USA already or someone is making them, you can use them to create creles as crele is simply barring on the BBR pattern.

Sounds great but in order to get a good breeding program going, you would have to do this several times. After all I can't see the want list shrinking.

Best bet would be to get a few more breeders over there to get involved as well.

The guy that is selling these eggs says this:

"These are not buff cross cuckoo. I have used Kennfarbig Orpingtons from Denmark to make the real Crele."

I can't even find Kennfarbig Orpingtons on Google...well at least in English.

I agree with what has been said, if you are going to import eggs you should get a group of people together and do a large order. That way many people could get some rare breeds/varieties here and it would seem that you would save money by combining orders. Imagine, if you imported the creles than maybe others could import some laced orps and some good blacks and buffs that would dwarf the orps here. Keep us updated, it would be great to see these birds at shows eventually.

If interested in really getting a program started over here, I would be interested as well. Although I'd treat them as pets, they would surely be viewed as an investment.
