Crevecoeur mix? Red wattles but no comb?

I got this little one from a Top Hat Assortment at Murdoch’s, and I believe they get their chicks from Murray McMurray hatchery. Looking at their website, I always assumed that I ended up with a crevecoeur, but she (he?) doesn’t have a beard. She’s also grown in this massive red wattles, but has zero comb development (no growth or redness). She is around 9 weeks old.

Any ideas on gender and breed? Is she just a low quality crevecoeur or polish mix?

Thanks in advance!

You're probably right about it being a crevecouer.
Sometimes two bearded chickens will produce a non-bearded chick (beard is a dominant gene, so the recessive not-bearded shows up sometimes unexpectedly.)

About gender: those wattles do look quite red. Do you have other chickens the same age? If this one has much redder wattles than others, then it is probably a male.

Pretty chicken!
