Crochet "Chat"

Aww, ya'll are gonna make me blush!

And thanks for the offer, but I don't have any goats, just chickens, fish, house birds, pigeons, rabbits and 6 MinPins.

Let's just say that as a child I read alot, as I wasn't that much interested in sports. I went as far as Explorers in scouting as a youngster, so I did read alot. And if a subject interests me, I'll read what I can find on the subject to learn about it or to help someone out with a question they have. But animals, plants and nature have always fascinated me. And also because I had to spend alot of time indoors as a kid recovering from various surgeries to keep me occuppied my mother taught me some of the things like cooking, sewing, crocheting. My dad was the one who taught me about gardening and building things.

Purple, that stitch is pretty, reminds me alot in looks of a v stitch, pretty. Those old crochet patterns typically used smaller hooks than we normally use so remember that if your effort does not look like the picture...try a smaller hook and see if you are closer to the look.

I have several clematis Chuck and you are right, they are gorgeous, I like my purple one the most I think. I like the vining plants alot anyway, silver lace vine is gorgeous too, white flowers.

Karan, Chuck wont come live with you unless you invite the min pins too!!! They need their daddy!!

Well you know what they say, "Love me, Love my Dogs!"

Well I don't mean to come across as a know it all, it's just that I do read alot. I don't know how my furbabies would take to being around horses, but I do know that feathered critters aren't safe around them loose. However, they are great at catching mice and other vermin. LOL

I can just see me traveling around the country in a Mini Camper, with various tools, the dogs, the birds, the fish, the chickens, the pigeons, bags of fertilizer, compost, seeds.

Popping up at various BYC members homes. Hmmm, might make a good article.

Yes Chuck just like the village elder that everyone can count on to give sage advice.

While out there I had the radio on and Noah came out too.
Well DB started crowing with a BonJove song on the classic Rock station. It was priceless

I called Chix, but of course he was done singing and did't while I had her on the phone. But of course he sang more later.

Ummm, 4 - 8 inches of snow your expecting and you want me to move there?
hide.gif
Ummm, this will take some long and deep thinking, at least when the storm gets here it'll be just rain! What else are you offering to sweeten the pot with?
lau.gif

I am jealous of the green house though. That's part of my plans for the future to have a small one to grow things in. I can't wait for these storms to finish coming through this next week and the ground gets a chance to dry out a bit so I can get some more seeds in the ground.

thanks to all of you for the welcome and ideas on where to find this pattern/instructions I have googled and googled and can not find anything even close...however this sounds like it might be it..I hope... I will do a row and see ..I can not believe this is not a popular afghan! it is so pretty and just looks like row after row of cute little pineapples

my next step is to hit the library ..now I am determined

I know the instructions are stuck into one of my books someplace but I have so many books with good ideas tucked into them I do not know where to begin anymore ...I am going to be one of those crazy old ladies people make fun of when they die you know

Great pics Karan! DB bald spot is filling in nicely. Noah and DB look like they will be great pals. He's still very young and I think when his feathers all come in he's going to be a real handsome guy.

That is a real bummer about the snow coming. I was wanting to put those pavers down.
barnie.gif
My back is feeling better so I guess I better try to get more done.

My chickens got to playin the new run last night. They love it. I can't wait until all the roosts are in there and their sand.
yippiechickie.gif
My coop is my pride and joy! I love watching my chickies. I'm looking for my little "fart" eggs any day now. They are 20 weeks, but I'm afraid I am going to have to wait on some of them for awhile. My cochins and buttercups are getting red combs.
ya.gif
2 of my year old hens are molting. I thought they always waited until fall but they are. They have lost so many feathers they look scruffy. Princess has nothing but little spikes all around her neck from all the new feathers coming in.

It's freezing here this morning.

OMG Karan! I *LOVE* DB. Noah isn't bad either, but I don't want to seem like a creepy stalker.
wink.png
My Grizzly would be horribly jealous of DB too...

Wonderful work on your greenhouse!

Fr.Chuck, we love to have you around as our wiseman.

Everyone take care. I think I overdid myself yesterday with errands and whatnot. Very tired today and not looking forward to our 3 to 7 inches of snow
