Crochet "Chat"

Afternoon crocheters (sp?), I'm looking for someone that can make me a pair of fingerless gloves. My knuckles and hands get very achy when cold and I'm trying to plan ahead for winter. I'm in the research mode now and looking for different designs and suggestions on what would be the best. I'm sure lots of you have ideas and I would love to hear them all. Posting on here because I'm finding alot of crocheted ones on etsy and would love to give my fellow BYCers first chance.

Hey Everyone... I feel like I havent posted here in FOREVER! Been busy watching chickens lay eggs... actually got to see one of our BO lay one today

Havent done much crocheting lately... worked on a scarf in the car yesterday, thats about it, need to get back to my big afghan for my bed

I'm not really trying to show off, Scrambled.......well maybe I am........but look what I found yesterday on the ledge in front of the nest boxes. A grey rat snake.....with an egg just swallowed. He/she broke it while I was bringing it to the house. It tried hard to get away but never tried to bite me. We took him/her down to the river and let it go.

Very cool, Leepsy. well not that you found it in your chicken coop, but it looks rather content. Maybe you have a gift with snakes. Next time SE has one, she's going to call you.

mcg30_40 I am sure someone with more skill than I, will get back to you, if you haven't already been PMed. You'd end up with something for your chickens if I made the gloves.

leepsy - Way to go lady... holding that snake, cause I would have been running the other way screaming for Dh

I'm scared of them... I'm going to try my best not to freak when I do find one in the coop cause I know one day its going to happen!

Leepsy: That snake is creepy.

Thank goodness I don't have snakes around my place. Everytime I encounter a snake I'm a basketcase for days. I jumped up a ledge of a pond once that was 5 ft trying to get away from one. Hubby still talks about that one.
