That blue is beautiful! i love the contrasting, but similar colors. I went to a local bazaar yesterday and saw a bunch of hats that were made with solids and kind of two-tone(like tweed) yarn, they looked great together.


Does anyone here sell their hats? I never have and at the bazaar yesterday i couldn't believe people were asking $15-$20 each for them!

no i usely just make them for my kidos or give them away lol

I used to make hats for a fundraiser and ask $7.50. Most people thought that was too much.

That is exactly why I don't craft to sell. The cost of supplies, time and skill just aren't appreciated in our Wal Mart society.

Stopped at Joann's today with $20 to get some more "with love" yarn for the hats and got a pretty good deal on yarn. I had her price match all the "with love" to their online price($2 off per skein!) and used a 60% off coupon for the BernatSV 'magenta' i just had to have.. made it only like $1.80. Went 91cents over because sis called for chocolate, lol.

I was pretty pleased with myself even if the checker wasn't!
