Crochet "Chat"

Very nice. Looks nice and toasty. It would be very handy here. We had snow this morning. 29 degrees......

Thanks! I started my first ripple lapghan and it's coming along well. I am doing an unusual color combination and I hope it turns out as I envision. Color scheme is aqua, gold and lavender. I've seen beautiful turquoise and gold wedding themes and decorating themes and am trying to sort of copy that.

I like it. May lose something in putting it on camera, but here is the lapghan in progress. Will use another stiped sequence near the other end of it but the rest will be iced aqua, as long as I have enough to do it.

This is Red Heart With Love "Iced Aqua", I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby "Sungold" & Red Heart Super Saver "Pale Plum".

Those colors work perfect together. Have you been doing any quilting? I have no idea about yarn types. I don't use yarn very often. That being said I am trying to make some slippers. Knitting not crochet. I really need to to go Joanns and buy some yarn. I might try hobby lobby if I can find it. Maybe I will get hubby to take me there on our outing this weekend.

I have been quilting, yes, but it's slow going. Having issues with tingling and numb fingers. This country looking square tablecloth is about 60" square and I'm working on it slowly. Not sure I really like it all that much nor sure what I'm going to do with it, but figured that there are so many square dining tables now, maybe it would sell if someone liked the blue-red-beige color scheme.

BTW, thanks for the inspirational link to all those afghans! So many afghans, so little time!

It's very pretty. I only had luck selling kitty quilts. People seem to love animals so there's always a market for that stuff. Also floral doilies. I have had very good luck with selling them. I thought about making a floral crochet bed runner. Sighs....too much designing and I am far too lazy. Yeah I like the pinterest site. Do you ever do any foundation paper piecing? I love this site and if you sign up with her she will send you a freebie each month.

I love her designs. They are hard but well worth the effort.

We need a crochet a long here. Something to get people motivated to crochet. :)

My "You Are My Sunshine" wip... Coming right along. I only need to finish about 8 more squares!!!!!
Beautiful work. Love the little bunny. I hope you post a picture of the finished sunshine wip. Excellent.

Never have done foundation paper piecing, no. I do the "cut a strip this long and this wide, then cut into squares" type thing. Don't have patience to use patterns anymore.

I've been doing foundation paper piecing for a few recent projects and love it. Tried applique not as in love w/ it.
