Crochet "Chat"

Good idea! I haven't done a swap yet but I'd love to! I think you have to be over 18 though, which I'm not quite yet. I will when I can though.

Working on a doll right now. Trying to figure out how to make it posable

Edit- autocorrect wants to change swap to square now...?

Over 18 for what?

Got pic of that doll? Have you seen the magazines on such things. I had a pattern years ago for Boudoir Dolls. Not sure I still have it. I think I bought the pattern for them. Never made them though.

auto correct can be a pain sometimes.

Tim, you must be over 18 years old to participate in any buy/sell/trade or swap event. It's always been a BYC rule, though some seem to slip through the cracks. The staff stops them if they know about them.

I did not know that. Why is that? Is there some legal thing about someone under 18 participating in our Granny Square Swap?

I suppose they could participate under someone elses name?

Some rules don't become apparent until you break them I guess.

If anyone would like to borrow 20yrs, I'll be glad to let them.

Here is the rule:

Quote:

It's because you cannot hold a minor to a legal contract to buy or sell, Tim. This is the same as the "real world". Kids love to contract to buy things without their parents permission here, then they renege on the agreement; why? because they're kids. Some kids are not like that, of course, but the parents are not bound to finish out a contract their kid got into with another BYC member withouth their permission. Kids bid on auctions for expensive birds or hatching eggs, then disappear and cause lots of grief. A swap is an exchange of goods for goods.

I guess I meant participate in. I was referring to the proposition by @acemario . I should have quoted it. I've got tons of yarn leftover from all the projects I've been working on. Lots of baby yarn and lots of Christmas colors lol.
I think she was asking for "donations." Not the same as a "swap" where we exchange squares.

I'm still learning the terminology. Sorry, but either way, I'm in.
