My brother in law was just accepted to Ohio State, so I made him this hat for Christmas. Finished it just in time!

I have really enjoyed the color changing technique of Tunisian crochet.

I've had to take a break from crocheting due to cramps in my hands . I hate feeling like I'm wasting time when I sit with the family in the evenings and watch tv. I was always crocheting, now I just feel like a slacker!...

Howdy fellow crocheters! I don't know about ya'll but I was so busy working up a frenzy of last minute Christmas gifts that I can finally breathe!! I wound up having to make a lot of rooster hats as last minute gifts for people to give but I really didn't mind at all...Turns out-I have one last one to make as my son's girlfriend has now decided she NEEDS one! Next up: Fun thing to collect eggs with!

It's on Ravelry as 'Rooster Hat.' I've lost count of how many I've made. After about four of them I stopped looking at the pattern and just wing it.

My latest crochet adventure is finishing up this freeform blanket-I put it down a little more than a year ago-I was getting a little overwhelmed with all the ends I would have to weave in (after just coming off a different freeform blanket this was not appealing to me)....in the year it sat in hibernation I started my little flock, and will be getting some more chicks in March-my latest piece to the blanket incorporates the rooster of my imagination.

Well, it isn't done yet-I still have quite a bit left to do, but this is how it is as a whole...I have at least 8 more pieces to make (it was part of a CAL and each week had a theme and I fizzled out)...and then whatever odds and ends I need to add to make it into a blanket shape! May or may not make a border...
