Cool beans!
I'll take that to mean you're interested.

I've posted to some of the other threads but wonder if I should just start a new thread sharing all the information in these papers. I also have copies of the American Agriculturist too. The most recent I'm reading is from April 5, 1919. I think they're cool reading.

I had hoped you could read the caption but maybe not so here is what it says.

Good Type and a Poor Type of laying hen.

"The hen pictured on the left laid 239 egg, while the other one laid seven during the same period of time. Not the ddp, full breast and the crop, the straight back and correct slope of the tail. Then note the same points of the other bird. The good type means eggs. Which kind of hen are you raising?"

I do have a pattern or a sweater but some papers are falling apart so I have to handle them with care. I probably should try to scan and save as much as I can. Anyone have any Ideas?

Another ripple afghan. Once again, this is a double stranded pattern. It works up quickly and I am using an N hook. This blanket is going twice as fast as my last one because this pattern is all DC rather than SC. Here are the first three rows:
1000

1000

It comes from this book at hobby lobby (#3):
700

I have 2 blocks left to finish for the fusion quilt I am working on. Once those two are finished all the blocks both crocheted and pieced will be finished. Then it will just be assembling, quilting, and borders.

Thanks kass and speckled! Here in northern utah we hit 105 yesterday... Not a fun temp to be out in the yard in (unless water is involved.) so I spent a few hours working on the blanket. Does anyone on here ever sell their blankets?
