I agree with the 'have to doom and gloom', I've heard stories of cancer surviviors that it takes at least three days after the diagnosis before the plan of action takes place.
We already have an ad in the paper for the chicks for sale, so this time when they come and ask about the big birds, for the first time, I'll be able to say okay on selling them. Bright spot of the day....?? hehee I GET TO GET RID OF POPCORN!!! hehehe

Skand: I'm so sorry to hear about your problems. Could you maybe contact a legal aid service online? Sounds definitely like you need some legal help in your corner. Maybe I missed some of the post but I hope things work out for you soon.

LC, you picked the perfect day to have mail delivered, Alyssa got sent home this morning, so she saw me open my envelope! All day today, she's been begging me to open hers and let her do it. Nope! Your sick, nothing fun for sick kids! Now, she was well enough to do her homework this afternoon, so I didnt be that mean to her!
Caydence sewed hers togather all by herself! Shoulda seen her beaming when she asked, like this? Yes baby, that's right...

Skand, hope all goes well for you. Maybe you will find a place you can keep your birds, especially popcorn! You know you WILL miss him the most.

I had my IV therapy today for my arthritis. They give me a benadryl at the start of it. One little benadryl, knocks my butt in the road for the day.

So I slept most of the day away!

Alyssa will work on hers this weekend. I found her little secret. She took the fruit loops cereal straws, hid them under her bed, and ate every single one of them! There's crumbs all under her bed!

I asked her, what are you going to do about all the bugs in your bed? Uh, I guess I have to learn to sleep with them I guess.

So she will be doing a very good cleaning after homework this week.

I got a note from Maw yesterday, she misses everyone but has had to disconnect her internet and phone for a bit. The DH did get a job though so that is hopeful! Maw, if you gett a chance to read this from the maw-in-law's house (if she still has her internet), we love you and hope all is well and please do not worry or fret over this thread or the forum take care of your "real" life. If the economy rebounds and things pick up and you get re-connected whooo hooo, if not, we certainly understand and will never think less of you a moment for it, please stop worrying about that!!

It's tough times everywhere, in fact there might me more people on the swap list that have unplugged for economic reasons, if so, we miss all of you but good grief, family comes first and we certainly understand that!!
