just how many eggs can you all hatch out at one time? I am getting a dozen eggs from my Cuckoo Marans now and 4 to 5 eggs from my ducks a day and I am sure that I can find so me others I would like to send ya's when you get up there and settled. We live right at the Missouri Iowa line in the center of the state. SO you can find us on the map easier.

Oh, well,,,,,, we have had a few set backs with the greenhouse, some heating issues and it got tooo cold and we lost some plants a couple of different times. We do have some seeds started and others to get started, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that we will have some nice green and a few blooming plants ready to go come April 22nd ...... Wish us luck.... We are getting a new wood furnace for the house so we will be putting the current one in for the greenhouse, Hopefully that will help with the heating issue.

hahaha you do know that that is not the question to ask about the bator.. lol It will hold 300 chicken eggs at one time. We do have big egg holders, and little egg holders. So that would change the number tremendously! Pheasants/quail, it will hold about 900 or so, peafowl, emu, big eggs, uhhhh 24 times 3.. 72? i think... lol
math wasnt my best nor favorite subject. lol
OH! Good news, pheasants will be sold (both pairs) to the same family! Its a couple that bought one of our ringnecks this summer when we noticed we had 6 boys, 1 girl... so yay! She's going to tell hubby to loosen the wallet hold.. she wants my peafowl too! I told her to tell him they are an investment. They will be laying next month, let Cheezz incubate them herself, then he can go in and sell the chicks when they hatch,... boom! MONEY BACK GUARANTEE! lol Bloo will eat super meal worms out of your hand now! I so dont want them to go to a horrible person that will just scare the crap outta them.

Glad to hear your pheasants are getting a good home, Skand!

I am really worried about Maw and Scoot with that Tornado....

Just off hand...It looks like the top is made in a circular fashion like a round dishcloth on lion brand. Then the part that has a ridge looks like a doble crochet sticking out somehow....and below that it looks like single crochet.

At the bottom I see something that looks like something I mad.

I did single crochet and put the hook into the back stistch of each stitch, then crochet one at end and turn and again work all sc from back loop of each stich. It has a pattern of the brim very similar.

As far as getting them diagonal like that Idk. Unless you just make two pieces and sew together And I am so new to crochet I could be WAY off.

Hey Lobzi...I certainly could be wrong and will be fine to admit it but to me, that hat is definately knitted. Looks like it to me anyway, I might look for patterns in the knitting area. It's really pretty and the yarn looks like the baby weight yarns, I think that bernat baby soft is the same yarn but my guess is that the one you have there is knitted. You can crochet one nearly like it with maybe an E or F hook and the bernat yarns, probably lionbrand.com or that pattern central site or just search for free crochet hat pattern or free knitted hat pattern...very cute. Maybe "beanie" would be a good search since it looks like the "brim" is folded up. Good luck

I am making softee chunky purple blocks for my daughter's college roomate's afghan. J hook, 22 across hdc with "too purple". I will join them with a row or two of a softy chunky with purple and white in it. Have a few shapes done in the cotton but have some other yarns to do some of them with, those are good race track projects and since we will be going strong a month before they are alll due I figure I'm still ok with my time line there:) We do close the swap sign ups March 1st so if anyone else is interested, you have a few more weeks to sign up...ya'll feel free to tell your friends at work or family they are welcome to join..have them sign on the site and post here, couldn't be easier

rd 4 similar to rd 3

rd 5 chain 5, dc in dc, chain 3 , sk 2 dc *dc in dc,ch 1, dc in dc, chain 3, sk 2 dc.* around

for the ridge thingy the only thing I can think is two round of dc in each stitch. Then somehow you would fold this over and Maybe sl st around back to the beginning of first dc to make that uppity thing.
