can't find one that has stuck out yet. I made one a couple years ago for my granddaughter & now she has out grown it. It had a hood. Really super cute

He can go to your house and I'm not taking anything back with me.

That's the whole point of getting rid of my little polish friend. I have one fat cat....that's enough. I ended up getting 5 roos out of my chicks and I have 2 blue polish. I want to keep one. He really is neat. He reminds me of Billy Idol or an old man with his grey untamed hair.

Someone else told me about Joe's being like that. Never ate there because I live so far a way from anything.

Our fancy restraunt is Applebee's.

Well, not sure if I was snoring, but I tried to sleep in this morning.

I wasn't really able to with all the interruptions from family and furries and feathered. Oh well. At least DH did the chicken chores this morning.

Skand, hope you had fun last night.

Tiki, so sorry about Sylvester. I hope the other two boys are friends now.

I have snow again.

MullersLaneFarm how do you get it colored?

Tiki,

The yarn? Well some of the fiber I get in is already ready to spin, dyed and all. That was the case with this fiber. I just spun it and plyed it.

Some fiber I get in fresh off the animal. Then I need to scour it clean, pick it, card it. Then I decide if I want to dye it before or after a) pulling into roving, b) after pulling into roving c) after spinning d) after knitting/crocheting finished object

My condolenses for Sylvester

lovemychix I got the diaper today...!!!

you folks have chickens inside??? I mean, sometime we will bring in a sick bird, or a wet bird (some chickens don't know they can't swim), but a house bird? I'm trying to wrap my head around that one.

We are heading off to an RV show and then to Costco! Woohoo! Not the most exciting Valentine's Day, but once you are done with the boyfriend/dating phase, the excitement over Valentine's Day goes downhill quick!

Add a few kids and it's defintely toast.

Newchicken: The excitement can always come back after the kids are grown and gone. We went to the casino late last night. Each of us won. Came home and traded boxes of candy and cards. Tonight we're going to the local pub for good steaks and Fat Tire! We've been married a looooooong time. So keep the good thoughts. All is not lost.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE!!!

Jacie

Uh-huh, not around here, at least.

This year my dear, darling husband made me some bone knittiting needles and DPNs. He made me a few bone crochet hooks last year.

This year, the bone came from the leg of our dearly departed Jersey milk cow, Dolly.

Mullerslanefarm....that was very sweet of your dh to do for you.

....just passing through....

My grandma used to knit...what's the difference with knit and crochet? If you don't mind me asking.

The ladies at the church are trying to get me to join the "chicks with sticks," club.

me,

I answered my own question:

"Crocheting, similar to knitting, consists of pulling loops of yarn through other loops. Crochet differs from knitting in that only one loop is active at one time (the sole exception being Tunisian crochet), and that a crochet hook is used instead of knitting needles."
