He already plans to show him for 4H, but he also knows 1 roo comes in another needs to go . So Stitch has got to find a new home.

may have to find LeRoy a new home too then it will be 3 Roos and maybe a bit more manageable.

Of course I have the same with my ducks as I have 2 boys that are needing to be rehomed too. Anyone needing a handsome Duck Boy???

By the way Chix J Lo is a very nice looking hen

J Lo was our very first hen. Syd begged to have her after their teacher said some of you kids can have the chicks we hatched. I figured we would keep her for a while and find her a home. No one wanted her so then we bought the barn coop thinking it was going to be mostly storage and a little coop. Well it's a 10x12 ft. coop with 34 chickens.

And we love it.

Everyone but our game boys and a couple of girls, the red golden pheasants, and the peafowl are gone. WriterofWords shows up today to take popcorn, 'yssa hen, the blue barred rocks, blue orps, blue silkies, blue frizzles, and the blue naked neck. oh and the BLR orphans. Oh and dapper dan, marlon brando, and tinkertoy. (my babies) Alyssa's not sure if she's okay with her taking popcorn and 'yssa hen. Those are her birds she says. I dont blame her, they are mine too! But, we talked last night, and if I cant have popcorn back, I'd feel better with him culled. I know she will take awesome care of them, but it's me being selfish, he has his quirks, and noone can understand them like me and Jim. I dont want her to take away from her birds to care for mine, but they do need thier own time and attention. Geesh, its worse then having a foster kid for 2 years, then all of a sudden, the crappy mom shows up and expects it to be all well and good! Here's the care sheet, this is what time they eat, what they eat, and dont forget to cut it up into chicken sized pieces! lol

I have good motivation to make sure Grizzly is a good daddy. I would get a updated pic of him for you (he's quite handsome except for the no tail thing...he'll get that back in the spring I hope)...but we have sort of lost the camera...again.

You shall have eggs as soon as you can have them!

I feel so sorry for you havin to rehome your critters. I know how saddened our hearts would be having to do the same.

give the girls a hug for me Sk. And I sure hope you all can stop by us so I can give ya all a hug in person.

But don't forget we all are goina be sending you all new eggs to hatch when ya get things setup. And get ya started with new little fuzz butts to cuddle.

We did more talking last night.... Uncle Bruce got his doggie kiddos yesterday, so first thing I did after church was vacuum that room! I love those dogs so much, but I think I love them more once they go. Bruce wanted to pay us for watching them, but as we always do, steadfastly told him NO! We did it because they needed to be taken care of in a hurry, and we did it for love, not for monetary gain (unlike other family members!

)
We had forgotten, he has an airstream trailer RV thang--- maybe he'll give us a good deal on it... we can get a storage unit for furniture etc.... move to an RV park, til the school year is out, then while that's going, I can get a part time job (since no bird funds)..then after school year's over, pack it up, move it north. That way, we miss the winter travel (ack! scary!) Alyssa finishes the school year... We get a better financial plan.. get the van better travel ready..everything emotional wise is calmer... Oh the funniest part, was talking to Alyssa about what she would think of living in a trailor in town, she told me.. Then I can be like my friends, not have chickens..I dont know Mom, maybe? WE Will get Popcorn and 'Yssa Hen back, right? Okay then!
