Yeah the dude that faked being Samuri Jenn and Trooperdave or whatever.... Yeah, that was a waste of time and energy. Am glad Nifty nipped it in the bud. Too bad they didnt spy it out sooner and save a lot of people the time and energy they spent caring about someone that turned out to be just like everyone else, wanting attention. Not saying attention is bad, they just went around it the wrong way. Took advantage of good peoples feelings.Thats bad!

You can't really expect a forum of nearly 25 thousand people to not have a few bored and trouble making misfits around though. Glad it got handled but almost sorry I missed it!!

That purple afghan I am crocheting for my daughter's college roomate is done in blocks and I am going to try that border like the baby pink and green one with the ruffle...and see what they look like connected that way, if I get a couple bordered and joined I'll take a picture and show you what I mean, in my head they are cute, cute...in real life they may have a case of the ugs..as in lees...we'll see!!!

If you search weathervanes it should come up. They had a lot of choices. Some were very expensive but I liked this guys the best for the price. If you don't find it I'll help ya. I also got one of those metal swirly thingys with a rooster on it from him too.

SE: I take a gallon of hot water out with me and pour it over the waterer base and defrost it so I can open it. I have a very nice metal waterer but it's always frozen up solid so I buy those large chick waterers for winter. I'm off to go defrost water here in a few minutes.

Still not enough snow for my snow chicken.

Ok... I saw these booties...and I really, really want to learn to make them....anyone know of a pattern? What is the level of difficulty? Nevermind that one...going to try anyway.
They are precious! And they would be such a keepsake!

Okay, for the wondering minds. Some guy named Luke signed on as a Woman and her husband expecting tripletts with three older children already. Then the husband was promoted as cop and then involved in a chase that involved a drunken driver and wound up supposedly seriously hurt in a wreck. Then the oldest daughter became seriously ill and was in and out of the hospital. They had some other stuff going on and then he posted some pics of the babies and some other pics of their livestock. Some of the pics had a copywright on them and that triggered the more observant ones to question it and alerted the mods and admins about it. They investigated it and found out the whole thing was a hoax and that the kid had taken them from the internet. He has been dealt with.

I have to go to CPR class this morning and then I think I'm going to work on those cowboy boots. So far so good.

Chicken water wasn't frozen solid but it was pretty icy.
