Crochet "Chat"

I'm here - I've been lurking a bit this week, but Spring Break starts tomorrow at noon! Hooray!! We will be planting our garden Saturday & Monday, and hopefully will see some growth soon! SE, did you have a frost Tuesday night? It hit here a little. Dh & I covered the blueberry bushes, but I think they'd have been okay since it didn't stay below 32 for very long. Better safe than sorry, though!
I'll probably be here quite a bit next week. It's been nuts the past two weeks at work - I have three or four different projects going on now. And my office shows it, too. Oh, the joys of working in public education!
On a better note, I should have my shapes for the exchange out by Wednesday or Thursday.
If I don't talke to ya'll again this week, everyone have a Blessed Easter! We had church tonight for Maundy (Holy) Thursday, tomorrow for Good Friday, Easter Egg hunt at 10:15 Saturday and a "modified" Easter Vigil service at 7:00, then Sunday, 6:30 Sunrise Service, 7:30 Breakfast (prepared by the men!), 9:30 Sunday School, and 10:30 church. Makes me tired just thinking about it! Since we live 20 minutes from the church, I'm tempted to take a tent & camp there!

Hello all!

Work's keepin' me busy, so not much computer time. We're putting a class of trainees through for their CNA certification, and woo - let me just be polite and say it's hard to find good help these days.

I'm jealous of all of you planting your gardens.

We had snow yesterday. It didn't stay of course, but it was enough to coat the ground for a few hours. Today it was 55, so I went ahead and set my onions. I can't run the tiller this year, my shoulder hurts too bad, so waiting on my husband has me a bit irritated, but the onions are in and the garlic is coming up all ready, so at least we'll have those!!

Still can't sit to crochet for very long. Darn shoulder. They assure me it's not permanent, but I'm worried. Ortho Dr. ordered more PT, so we'll see how that goes.

I'm off work for a long weekend, so woohoo!! Five days off. I don't know how to act, lol.

Scoot, If you get a chance please check in, heard the storms were around Miami tonight, It got really wild here for a bit, but, everything blew over. Hope the same happened with you all.

Okie, Hope the storms weren't too bad where you are, hope you all are safe from the fires. If it isn't one thing it's another!!!!

Hope everyone else is doing good and feeling better.

Take care,
Bobbie

Is Scoot in Florida now? I didn't know she was migrating that far, wishing her and Skand the best of luck.

LC, we used to be just that obligated at church except add Trustee and Pres. of the Women's Club to those weekend obligations....then came racing and we became heathens, lol!! Have a nice one...you know the more you do the more they ask you to do, right?!

Didn't know that about the strawberries Chix, thanks for the info!!

Hope those wildfires are nowhere near you Okie

Oh, that was only the worship opportunities for this week. Add to that, DH is on our church council, I'm secretary for our Women's group, and together we are counselors for our youth group. Not to mention being on several committees! Sometimes, I feel like I am at church more than I'm at home!! But if we didn't enjoy doing it, we would find something else to do, so...

And we spent our time being heathens, too. When the kids were so involved in everything at school, we spent all our "extra" time shuffling them back & forth and chaperoning (sp?) band trips! Whew... glad that's behind us!
Hope all the Spring colds & stuff get over soon. I'll personally be glad when the pollen goes away. My eyes have been red & scratchy for weeks. And, joy joy, my arch enemy, the pine trees are getting ready to pop their pollen too.

Everyone feel better!

Okie, prayers for you and the area people with those fires...I hope you are safe!

SE, I think Chicks Rule meant Miami Oklahoma, I know that was where Scoot was before...sounds like she might be safer in Florida???

Hope everyone is staying out of storms and that they feel better soon. We have sun for once and warming temps...spring fever will set in, but I will leave the green thumbs to all of you garden people...

Your kilt fix, since we haven't had one for awhile. A good example of a Great Kilt (the kind DH wore at our wedding).

Ladies, I will be off line for several days due to my computer going wacky on me again. It was working fine yesterday, then last night zero. You all have a safe and blessed Easter and check back in next week.
