Hey, Risurocket, dumb question... I need to know what color squirrels you have in your part of the country. We have grey squirrels here, and I've seen black ones in Michigan. Mostly ours are just nuts (excuse the pun - and don't ask why I want to know, ok?)

LOL - LC we have grey mostly, and some red squirrels. Occasionally a black one will show up. If we're really lucky we have flying squirrels. My mom is the only one that has those that I know of though. She gets all the cool wild life.

Oh Maw, missed that about Haley!

Hope she recovers fast and enjoys the milk shakes and soft foods for the time being!

Hello to all my hooker sisters. Been busy dealing with Drs., trying to get my SSI. Also finally got around to building 3 new rabbit hutches just have three more to build and then each of the bunnies will have their own 4'H x2'W x 4'L hutch. Planted some more flowers, been harvesting some of my produce from the garden. Am now up to 5 baby silkies, although I think a couple of them are OEGB/Silkies. Some of my hens are now laying, I'm getting 6 eggs a day, I should be getting 7, either someone is hiding eggs or not laying. Plus I have 10 more hens coming of age soon so I should be increasing the egg counts.

Dont know if I showed this afghan to you all.... its a work in progress... I've worked on it alittle since this picture was taken, its about 33x33. I've decided to make more squares just like these to add to it, so I'll have a pretty big afghan when I'm done. Going to try to do 4 squares a day (or more, just depends what I have going on) and try to get it done soon... wish me luck.

Scoot, you are the queen of hookerville with all those projects. Wow. I can do ami, but I think that the horsies are beyond me. Very nice Knightmare. Glad they are selling well.

Morning all, hope everyone, including the Hookerville and Afghan Queen have great days, lol! Hey Chuck, whatcha gonna do with all those eggs?!! Deviled eggs, pickled eggs, brownines and cakes, breakfast everyday or sell them?! With 10 hens laying erratically, only 2 eggs yesterday, it works out perfect for us, my daughter takes a dozen or so back to college with her and my son's girlfriend take a dozen with her sometimes and we basically eat the rest but I almost never don't have a dozen in the frdge..you and those minpins better like eggs!!!

Good Morning... I'll be hooking in a lil bit

working on that bright afghan, Dh is making me a webpage, so of my family and friends have been asking me about selling stuff, I have already made and sold 2 babyghans lately

Got to pay for my chicken feed! We have 34 chickies and so far I see 4 roos, all but 2 are 12 weeks old. Do they start laying around 20 weeks? Hoping for lots of eggs

Oh and the guineas are 8 weeks old now and flying to the top of our chicken run! But they have stayed in so far.

Morning! Busy day of running around today.

I have like over 10 dozen right now. We just have not had a chance to get our marketing up and going quite yet. *sigh* oh well. We will manage. I hope. DH is going to start talking them up at church and hopefully that will help.

Yeah, Jen, our pullets started laying round 20/21 weeks. Once they start it goes like crazy and all of a sudden they are all laying and their eggs only take about a week or so to get up to decent size.
