WriterofWords, if the fiskars still skips after getting a new blade then take it back! It should not do that, something is off with the gliding mechanism inside if a new blade doesn't fix it!
Good luck!

Thanks to you all for your help. I figured out how to do it. You see I couldn't hit the back button as it would take me back to uploads but I did find tabs in the upper left hand side of the threads where I can click back and forth. Yeah!!!!!

It was really bugging me. My husband couldn't help because he knows less about the computer than I do. He taught school for 41 years both here in CA and in KS but in schools where there wasn't much funding for computers. I guess now I don't have any excuse for not posting photos. I've posted all of my crocheted things from afghans to canopy so will have to finish something. Thank you all.

Baustin ~ WOW ~ I just LOVED that red octagons granny afghan!! It looks like the one in the Red Heart Cozy Comfy Home pattern booklet, am I right? The colors are simply WOW~ What yarn did you use?

Also, the baby afghan is so cute!

I just finished this baby afghan ~ I used a cotton DK weight that I hand-dyed.

And I did this in the same hand-dyed yarn ~ it's a little over-coat/sweater/thingy and baby bonnet to go with it ~ they are for my sister-in-law. I will be sending them off tomorrow.

OMG! Those are sooo cute! I used to hand dye things, that is a lot of work, but what a beautiful result!!! Love these pics from everybody! Helps motivate me to get going and I love to see what everyone is doing!

I love your afghan and sweater set. Yes, my pattern came out of the cosy, comfy book and the red is the burgundy from the Red Heart Super Saver. I use that the most because that's all that WalMart carries here but I used some other yarn also as I shop at JoAnn's when I can and buy on sale. I like the Lion brand. It goes well with the super saver. I was given a bag of yarn several years ago and I use it also. 7 afghans last year and 6 or 7 the year before. All my grand daughters have one I've made and now I'm doing the grandsons. The red one is for my DH's niece who takes such good care of his 98 year old sister who is in a home now but she stops by every day after work and takes her out to eat, etc.

WOW! I just went back and checked out some photos from further back on this thread that I had missed and boy are you folks talented!!!
I wish we all lived close then we could get together to crochet and chat. I can't seem to find folks in my area that crochet. I've been trying 'cause I want to start a group that will donate items to the local hospitals etc. like WriterofWords does but I can't seem to find anyone close to me that crochets.
