Cute baby stuff Red! Do you have an itty bitty person you make for, or you like me & just like to make baby stuff?

I've had company (the good kind) all week & haven't picked up my hooks at all. Been playing in the mud (pottery) & playing tourista in my own town all while fighting the "crud" that's been going around. They left yesterday morning & I slept all the rest of day...I think it's just what I needed.

My garden is tilled & ready to be planted. I'm looking forward to fresh tomatoes, but not the ongoing fight with weeds.

Kgee, I am sorry you are not feeling well ~ we have had the crud here too ~ a good sleep will do you well. You are so lucky that your garden is already tilled ~ we haven't even had the ground dry out enough to rake up yet. And of course, although today it is actually a whopping 66F, we had hail just Saturday, & we are supposed to be getting 2 inches of snow tonight! I'd like those silly ~Global Warming~ nuts to come to Idaho ~ see if they can globally warm it up a bit here. ;-D

Also, it's so much easier to not get lost ~ I just take a pencil and lightly mark where I am at in the pattern and it sails along. I liked those Japanese diagram books so much I even had to blog about it! ;-D (Blurt Blogger )

I am relatively new to crocheting. My 12yr. old neice taught me! So I only know the basics; but what I would like to do most is make doll clothes for my daughters 18' doll. all I ever see is knitting patterns. Are there patterns for crochet like that?? And if there are, where would I find one?

It has been absolutely beautiful here the past few days. Got started setting up my rows in the garden...boy it seems big!

Wow ~ serious garden envy going on here!! Where are you ladies at that you already have things going? Here in Idaho, we are just grateful that the sun has shone all day long, and it hasn't snowed yet this week! ( they forecast snow, but it turned into rain, we were all so ECSTATIC! ~ you could see folks in the streets, doing the happy dance! ~ shucks, we even have a few enthusiasts bravely running around the greenbelt in SHORTS. At 54F in the middle of April, we spuddites just plain don't know how to behave!) ;-D

Same here! We aren't as far north but the higher elevation is keeping us at winter temps. I have tomatoes, zucchini and corn started inside but I'm starting to think the frigid nights are never going to relent!

I'm so sick of the cold! Monday we had a little snow during the day, but it didn't stick, and they had forcasted rain for the warmest(?) part of the day not snow!!!

I'm in the high desert of CA at about 2500 feet above sea level. I'm in zone 8b and it warms up early but we've had two frosts since having 80 degree weather so it's very unpredictable here. Our natural desert plants are telling us it's spring because they're blooming. My bearded iris are blooming now although a lot are in bud. I have at least 80 plants.
