Awwwwww!!!! They were precious!!!! I love the smile on your dog's face. You can tell how happy she was. It's so hard losing them. We had a white husky/lab mix that was the smartest, great guard dog, loved kids, best family dog ever. We lost him a few springs ago. Breaks all of hearts to this day when we think of him. I think that is why my hubby and DD brought Harper home on a whim from the humane society in Feb. She's a black Siberian Husky mix. Suppose to be pure that was rescued from a puppy mill, but I can tell she is a mix of something else. Whew, she is a handful!!!! Lots of energy and a chewer. We've lost more shoes lately than with any puppy we've ever had. I have a feeling that she will be in the crate much longer than the rest when we are not home. I'll try to find pics to post on my next break from being a white tornando. Ick....hate cleaning!!!!!

Will post pictures soon. I already did with the first set. I used the same pattern with the first set but used various fall colors but on the second set I tried several patterns and still used various colors. There are no two alike.

Yea that breed needs to chew! Especially as a puppy. Get her a bunch of chew toys. The really sturdy kind though, don't be tempted by the cute stuffed animals. They will be destroyed in a couple of hours. I also like to keep my dog gated off from the bedroom areas so he can't get to my shoes! Sometimes I still forget and kick my shoes off in the living room but he is already learning which toys are his and which toys are mine!

I'm with ya on the cleaning thing! Would rather sew, cook, crochet, build a chicken coop, almost anything before cleaning.

SunnyDawn~ You are not kidding this breed chews. We do gate the stairs to keep her from going to the bedroom areas. I got tired of all the hair every where. We are all bad about kicking our shoes off in the living room. Just like a kid we can only turn our heads for a sec and Harper will get into trouble.

After many flip flops being damaged we now know to NOT leave them in the living room or to put them up high. We bought nylabone and another brand that is suppose to be durable and she has chewed chunks off the durable ones. Makes me nervous for her to have anything in her crate if we aren't home. She loves acorns & walnuts. She has learned to shuck them in a matter of mins. I'm constantly haven't to pry them out of her mouth. LOL!!! Mug the white husky/lab was a little bit of a chewer as a puppy, but Harper takes the cake.

Bumblebee~ Love the pic of your happy babies. That is cracking me how Star is over the kitty, Kika!

I think it's so cute when cats & dogs are buddies. How old is Star?
