Crochet "Chat"

I found a super cute crocheted bib at a yard sale today so now I have a terrible urge to make more! anyone ever made bibs and did you use cotton or acrylic yarns? I am thinking the cotton will absorb better. I may try to sew a backing on if i make any, just to keep baby's clothes from getting icky.

Hi all! Love all the adorable pics of everyone's projects!

Just popped in to let everyone here know that the new swap thread has been posted and you can find it here... https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/669661/new-kind-of-granny-square-swap

We are trying something different this time around that should appeal to beginners and veterans alike. Check it out and let me know what ya think! Hope to see you all there!!!

I'm made some burp cloths from cotton yarn. No bibs. I started one w/o a pattern and it was kinda weird so I pulled out the part that goes around the back and made it a wash cloth.

well I started working on one last night and finished it this morning. I started with the idea that i was going to make the wingls into the body so it would be perfectly round-ish (lol), but that wasn't working for me so i made them off the sides of the body. My sister loved it and it looks super cute on my baby niece Kenley =)

I did not have a pattern, I went online and found a picture of one of those cute baby owls that's on a lot of crib bedding and infant things right now and created it from there. thankfully I had that huge flower button in my craft stuff, I don't think it would have looked as girly without it!

I could turn it into a "Bapron"...

Awwww! That's adorable Bleenie!

Weren't you asking me when the next swap was gonna be? Dates and guidelines have been set now. Sure hope to see ya there! :)

I hope I'm not crowding the thread with my pics but I just finished this one for my younger sister's baby boy. (the owl was for my older sister's baby girl)

My mother said it looked like it could be a frog, but it is, in fact, a Monkey, lol.

That is so adorable! I think it looks like both but either way it is very well done. I love the owl one too. Did you design the pattern?
