Crochet "Chat"

I inadvertently gave google permission to take over my computer & now I can't post pictures. I'm trying to post pictures of the beginning of the variegated afghan. The colors aren't as rich as in person and I'm not sure there's enough here to give the impression of the completed item. I'll post a picture of it in a couple or three months if I don't give up on my computer.

Does a virus scan find anything? I know the same thing happened to one of my friends and it was a virus. :) Also, the afghan is really pretty!

I'll run a scan. I think it was my fault, though, but a scan will help in case I let anything in besides google.

Thanks :) Here's the pattern. Sorry if it's a little confusing.. it's the first pattern I've ever written down.

Row 1: Ch 4, sl st in first chain.
Row 2: 6 Sc in middle of the loop you just created, sl st in first sc.
Row 3: Ch 1, 2 Sc in each of the next two stitches, 1 sc in next stitch. (2 Sc in next two stitches, 1 Sc in stitch after that) all the way around. Sl st in first Sc.
Row 4: Ch 1, 2 Sc in same stitch, 1 Sc in next stitch. (2 Sc in next stitch, 1 Sc in stitch after that) all the way around. Sl St in first Sc.
Rows 5&6: Ch 1, 1 Sc in same stitch, 1 Sc in each stitch all the way around.
Row 7: Ch 1, 2 Sc in same stitch, 2 Sc in each stitch around. Sl St in first Sc.

I only do one row for the brim (row 7), but you can make it longer by repeating row 7.

Weave a ribbon into the hat, leaving a piece of extra ribbon on each side to tie under the chicken's chin. Or use a piece of elastic sewn on.

Please let me know if there's a problem with the pattern. :3

ETA- I also used a size H hook.
thanks neighbor. I just wrote down the pattern,

You're welcome
