Sorry all...I've been too busy/lazy to keep up with keeping the updates... up-to-date

Yesterday 4 boys went to their forever homes. I was fortunate enough to find a guy who was taking in roosters for his rooster sanctuary.

I know you might be saying, Four? I thought you had Five?
Well, one boy met his unfortunate end at the claws of a hawk. atleast I *think* it was a hawk, none of the other birds seem fazed and only the younger ones were hiding in some shrubs. Maybe it was a smaller bird of prey? I'm just glad it didn't take any of my girls...

Happy ending of sorts I guess!

There is a legal technicality that you can use. You are allowed to keep 3 hens. All the young ones are pullets until one year of age. Just keep giving away your extra pullets at their birthday,, and get more to replenish your numbers.
