He is my sweet, crazy boy! His mama is my red bantam Cochin Holly, and his father is Bo, our standard size large Buff Brahma rooster.
(Big ol' Bo was always fond of that little bantam.... poor thing🤦‍♀️)
What a looker! and he’s not shy about it either 😂 i see the cochin in the tail and the brahma in the legs. How many roosters do you guys have for the flock?
I love him/her!
So, do you plan to breed them, then send him off?
I don’t know! I guess I’ll worry about it when it crows/lays eggs 🤣 He’s pretty cute, so I’m not too worried about finding him a home later if he happens to be a roo.

Thank you! And yes, he knows it! I noticed that too because his legs are longer than the Banty Cochins, not to mention, he is getting as tall or taller than my Banty Cochin rooster.
11 actually. Three reside with the flock of 50+ hens, and the others are in separate pens!

We live in a very rural area, and our neighbors have a large flock as well, so we are well used to constant crowing.

He is so cute!! 😍 I want one!:love
Where do you live? I'm in lower Hudson valley NY and the lady I got them from has soooo many. And all of them are absolute sweet hearts because they're hand fed and handled by her children all the time!
Maybe just maybe there's one in a million chance you live near her....

I'd take roosters any day over the construction noises we've had over the past year from the house being built on the corner :he

Oh I live in Oregon so I wouldn't be able to.;):hmm And even if I was close I have like 60+ chickens right now so I wouldn't have enough space anyways!😆 But thank you for the offer! I would have loved to own her/him.😍
