That's great! They are so cute! Will they be crockpot eggs too?

(We have been tempted to buy quail eggs from the Asian Market and stick em under a broody, but no one else was in on it.... not to mention we kind of have a large flock already, about 70 something, (That's including the roosters)

I gave both pipped eggs to paint so they will be nice and snug under her when they hatch.

Day 21

2 externally pipped crockpot eggs left to hatch... One didn’t pip internally and had me worried. She finally pipped this afternoon, but away from the air cell. I’m glad she didn’t pip right through a vein!

You should totally do it! they don’t need all that much room and lay the cutest teeny little eggs!

Mom kept leaving this one out in the cold for whatever reason. It didn’t quite fluff up, so I gave it a bit of a bath. poor thing was kind of cold from being repeatedly left out and fell asleep right away in the warm bath.

It is something to think about! My sister really wants some, so maybe someday!

No, not yet sadly.... She said in the books that she likes reading and hearing about readers' pets, but she didn't say anything about writing back.
