crop problem, need urgent help with my beloved rooster

Okay. When the molasses comes, mix up the flush and have him drink it all. Take away his plain water until it's gone.

But the normal poop and his perky behavior are both very good signs he's getting back to normal.

yes!
but can he have his food in front as usual when he gets molasses?

he is very hungry, stands and eats pellets and has eaten mealworm, cottage cheese, the contents of tomatoes (I only give the contents because the skin is hard melted) and I am now waiting for him to drink, which he always does in quantities before going to sleep

Yes, give him continued access to food. Keeping the crop active with continued eating can actually help push material through the gizzard and intestines.

thank you so much for helping Torsten! I'm so thankful!
I keep updating on how it goes.

I just made the water with epsom salt and he drank it up :)

he is so alert and happy, and poops completely normally. :)

I notice in him how much he wants out, he digs in my lap, as they do when they take a bath.

now we can hope that this helps his system to be flushed out.
I'm still waiting for the molasses, and try it if the salt does not work.

how fast does it take from drinking the salt water to emptying his crop?
he eats during the day.

also, I can hear how it rumbles and bubbles in his stomach now after drinking epsom salt water.
feel like it might be a good sign? :fl

It should work pretty fast. It will cause him to poop a bit more than usual. Watch his poops to see what might be in them. Sometimes after a flush, you will see some strange things, such as wadded up grass or even foreign material such as string.

In a bit, check his crop, and if you feel a hard lump, give him coconut oil again and massage the lump to try to break it up. It's a very good sign that he's alert and active and wants to go out. Be sure to offer him grit, also, as he will crave it to help get this stuff out of his system.

okay.
he has pooped but does not know if it is more than usual, however, he made two loose poop just now, adds a picture.

his crop is no less because he has drunk a lot of water and eaten a lot of pellets.
his crop no longer feels hard, nothing hard in there but right now it is the most fluid-filled.
he has free access to grit in his cage.

Since he's behaving normally and wants to go outside, that might be good for him.

If this gurgle continues and he's behaving well and is happy and eating and pooping as he's been for the past couple of days, then there may be a harmless cyst in his esophagus acting as a small obstruction.

Behavior is the most reliable indication of health and well being.
