I really don't want to go to all the trouble and stress on the birds if there is not going to be others there.

I might have to drive up for the day. I am stuck home with the kids and animals, but Jerry will be there.

All may not be lost. I bought a new truck and I can seat 4 people comfortably. Plus, it has a great 6' chicken storage space behnd the people storage area! So, my friend may go now. I am considering asking to see if another person or two that would want to share expenses on the trip! I can't stan the whole time, though. I will have to leave midday Sunday.

Yep, I have a 8 1/2-9hr drive. I mainly just want to get there to buy the good birds before they are gone on Friday.
