The eye infections are clearing up now, and I am maybe starting to see some blue around the blind kittens eye, instead of silver.I am not getting my hopes up on him though. They are finally taking to the bottle now. I tried them on a saucer of milk formula, and they still have no interest in it. The two kittens that can see are doing great and are pretty healthy now. The tortise shell tiger stripped one ( which is a female) is really getting fattend up, and not one bit of goop around her eyes. Then the other gray and white kitten is also fattening up and is really getting cute. I think this ones a female also, ( but I forgot) She has really neat hair it is cottony, and is kind of kinky or curly. I havevnt ever seen a cat with this kind of hair. The blind one is a male and his hair is also really curly, and it looks like it might end up being shorter than the one females. I have been keeping them in a buffle bag looking pet carrier and it keeps them warm and the bottom of it is padded with a quilted looking bottom. If I dont keep it zipped up the one that is blind climbs out. I think that either he isnt blind, or his other senses are really good because he is the only one that climbs out. The other two just stay put and hide out . It is really to bad I cant afford to keep them all because they really are going to be beautiful cats. But like I said above I already have to many cats. And every single one of them cant go to the bathroom outside. They have to beg to get in and then they go and us a litter box and as soon as they are done they want back out side. Its like the dirt outside isnt good enough, or they are scared someone might see them pooping or something. But man I have to clean the litter box everyday and replace it once a week to keep odors down. There is no way I could handle three more cats. My DH keeps asking me when I am supposed to take them to the shelter, and he is scared to death I might decide we need to keep them. I just hope that the ones eyes clear up, and then they all get adopted out.
