The black Ganoi/Cuba female just hatched her chicks, however she won't let me see them yet. In addition, the incubator finished hatching few eggs of hers. photos later.
The Black Shamo female started laying today. Your black Cuba male and her are quite the pair. They get along great. He is helping with the nest.
I find these, Ganoi/Cube and Shamo hens quite protective of their eggs, chicks and take excellent care of them.

I guess I'm fortunate in that there is really no other breed that even comes close to being a favorite for me.
