From the time they were small until they were elderly they always cuddled the same way. It was too cute.

Nice! I'm trying to think of a way to convince my husband to rebuild my chicken coop for the 3rd time. lol
I know how you feel. My DH will be building a new one for me in March, for the 4th time. Finally this time it should be the coop to end all coops around here.

Ladies,
Do it yourself! I taught myself how to build. Cap builds. You can too.

Abby (fawn) and Amber (red)! Well... the natural earred girl is Amber. The cropped is Bridget. Dylan is the gorgeous black boy. One of the best dogs that ever graced the planet.

I'm afraid to use the saws. I think I'll cut my fingers off.
No you wouldn't.
If I can learn, you can.
I've remodeled 6 houses top to bottom.
I converted that shed into my coop entirely by myself. I needed help assembling and hoisting the beams into place on the run but other than that and some help holding the posts plumb, I built that too.

When I was showing your build article to DH I kept saying, can you believe this was built by a woman??? :lau He is convinced we can't handle tools.

Also, I did try to build a cage for a wounded crow my son brought home once. I asked the hardware store to cut the wood into the lengths I needed and brought it home to assemble. I nailed it together with my son holding it up. When I was done and he let go, the whole thing collapsed. :lau A friend came over and built if for me.

ETA: Like the time I tried to give my car a tuneup on my own. I dropped all the screws into the distributor. :lau I asked my BIL if that would hurt anything. He said, DON"T START THE CAR! Then he came over and fixed it for me.

I learned to build with my Dad as an adult I realize in many way no matter how much I loved my Dad he was a klutz ten fold.....
