Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

We all have our quirks since raising chickens I'm sure, lol. I don't like eating eggs when there is a rooster in the flock. :lau
I have culled chicks when necessary, terrible experience, but I have yet to handle an adult myself. I have taken them to my friend's husband that lives about an hour away and I pay him in his beverage of choice. lol

Wow! It's 71°F here and we're showing a high of 84°F!
It will turn to rain soon. Was not expecting snow today! It's supposed to be raining for two days, but no one said anything about snow.

Oh no! It's snowing out!!!

We're going to get some of that nasty white stuff any minute now...it's 27* and gray as can be outside. I'll need to get my outdoor chores done soon.

Val, your aversion to eating what you raised reminded me of when we raised meat rabbits in FL. That 1st time was very hard for me (even though DH did the deed). It did get easier with time though, maybe because I didn't really care for the rabbits. I've never been in the position of having to put down one of my birds, don't know that I could do that.

Looks like the weatherman gave Washington State a "Snow job" today! :lau
