Super odd thing ... I went to clean the cat box as it has been a couple weeks (I've been slacking) and it is completely CLEAN. My cat is indoor/outdoor but acts more like a dog than a cat. I think she may have trained herself to go to the bathroom outside??

She will meow really loud at times wantjng outside but never thought much of it until now.

Cats are usually pretty picky about where they go. Maybe she decided outside is better, she can pick any spot she wants

I agree, they are very picky. I have another older cat that goes inside/outside as well but uses the litter box. I've just never heard of an inside cat doing that before! Big plus for me

Will be hitting Wallyworld soon - would love to know how to incorporate those air filters into the cloth etc. masks I have now. I'm not much of a DIU er but, I try.

The mask you need to make with the filter in place uses 3 pieces of material. With two pieces of material you sew it together to make a slot from the outside. Then you sew the two pieces that is already sewn to the third piece of material adding your elastic and the nose piece.

The air filter 3M I bought was one of the narrow spaced ribs in the filter. I took all the paper off then I removed the wire from both sides. I have over two yards of filter once I took it apart.

The filter I bought is 3M Filtrete Healthy Living Advanced Allergen 1500 Microparticle Performance Rating Filtration Level. It is used for lint, household dust, dust mite debris, mold spores, pollen, pet dander smoke, smog, cough/sneeze debris, bacteria, and viruses. On the back side where the UPC seal is they have some very small writing ( they have four different sections in black ink -- the last one to the right talks about The Flirtation Level chart on the front panel and at the end is a statement for the capture of 0.3 to 1.0 micron particles.

Don't sew the filter in when you are making the mask.

I've heard that too but don't go along with it...there's no way I could have 4 cat boxes in this tiny little house, we'd have to get rid some furniture! My 3 cats use 1 box and I clean it every day.

I've read that too, Cap. Fortunately, my older cat is at my dad's house so sharing litter boxes isn't an issue. I feel like there would be major cat fights going on if I introduced both cats together. The old girl is quite ornery

I couldn't imagine 4 cat boxes I clean my older cat's boxes every other day since she actually uses it, lol!

Here is what the cucumber sandwich looks like. I trim all the crust off the bread and cut into small triangles.

I have a cat who refuses to use a cat box. He is pretty hilarious about it too. But, he has a cat door, so it's not an issue. I don't even set one up anymore.
