I had so many going I got confused. Now I am putting tape to write set date and lock down date right on the bator.

That's a good idea. You can also put dates right on the eggs themselves with a pencil.

You mean you use your bill pay calendar for timing your incubator?

It does both times an incubator but has sleaves to set bills each month

I do, but I can't always find it. Plus sometimes I mark the date the egg was laid on it when collecting.
