Getting a new young cockerel this morning from a fellow backyard chickens member. I'm kind of excited about it. My rooster is not fertilizing the eggs anymore. He is only 3, maybe 4, but he has had something going on with one of his wings or his back for a couple years. I think it might be painful for him. We have felt all around for lumps or anything wrong and cannot find it. Time for a new one.

It's going to be 100 degrees today!!!!!!!!! This is not supposed to happen in SW Washington!
