Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

Sour I have often thought of trying the movie- dine in theatres -but, felt it would be disruptive having servers in and out, dishes clanging - noisy chewing, etc. Would you please let us know how the experience played out for you?

deedee, "Chef" is on my 'to see' list. Actually the dine in movie experience was quite good. Seats are plush and comfortable , food was good, service was non obtrusive. There was a little confusion over the bill - paying by gift card and including a bit extra for tip - waitress didn't know quite know how to handle that.

We missed a bit of important dialogue between Heather and her parents. Other than that it was a completely enjoyable experience. Food prices were in the ballpark, but drink prices were ridiculous.

Okay - I saw "22 Jump street" this afternoon- I really liked it. It was hysterical, and silly, and repetitious and required absolutely no brain power whatsoever to enjoy it.

In short it was one of my favorite kind of "lift me up," movies when I am feeling down and can't turn the "what IF" scenarios off in my my head. I know that sentence probably makes no sense to anyone but me. But after seeing the movie, I don't really care.

It's funny that when you laugh and smile, it seems to change the course of mood in a very short time. I'm still smiling and it only cost me $ 6.50 a lot less than a visit to a psychiatrist.

I've never been a fan of Jonah Hill but, today I really liked him and the chemistry he had with Channing(Magic Mike) Tatum was undeniable. BTW don't jump up and leave - when the credits start to roll so does some bonus scene activity . Enjoy.

P.S. now I'll be looking for 21 Jump street to see how this all began.

I saw "How to train your Dragon 2" Thursday with my friends. I thought it was good but not as good as the first one. My friend cried during it, as a character does die but i would say all of us really enjoyed it and had a good time.
