Okay - I saw "22 Jump street" this afternoon- I really liked it. It was hysterical, and silly, and repetitious and required absolutely no brain power whatsoever to enjoy it.
In short it was one of my favorite kind of "lift me up," movies when I am feeling down and can't turn the "what IF" scenarios off in my my head. I know that sentence probably makes no sense to anyone but me. But after seeing the movie, I don't really care.
It's funny that when you laugh and smile, it seems to change the course of mood in a very short time. I'm still smiling and it only cost me $ 6.50 a lot less than a visit to a psychiatrist.
I've never been a fan of Jonah Hill but, today I really liked him and the chemistry he had with Channing(Magic Mike) Tatum was undeniable. BTW don't jump up and leave - when the credits start to roll so does some bonus scene activity . Enjoy.
P.S. now I'll be looking for 21 Jump street to see how this all began.
