I named our duck Barry greendale and then we named out chicken Barry steel lol. I shudda been a Barry lol.

I'm curious as to why you would name her chopper then pronounce it chomper

Well... her original name was Blind Side because she would randomly run into my leg, but I renamed her Chopper when she was a chick because she would peck at my fingers. I always said it "Chomper", but in my head the word was Chopper. I guess it's just weird, but it works for me. Now she is one of the friendliest chickens I have ever had. Up until she killed 2 of my newly hatched chicks a couple days ago. Sadly, living up to her named. Oh and she is a Speckled Sussex.

I have a pair of Barred Rocks. They are virtually identical except that one of them has a comb that flops over. I named them Flopsy and Mopsy.

I named my rooster General Tso to remind myself that he was destined for freezer camp.

We have hazel, apple blossom, jade, tar &feathers, whitey, sweetie and our roosters name is broody j. We have 4 white ones mixed with these old girls and we just haven't named them

here is a few of ours buddy he is a Phoenix. sunny an copper they are marans, fat blue she is a giant blue Cochin, red is a Cochin, swimmer babies they are ss, goldie she is a rir, bama smokey powder, puff pretty boy some of our silkies, Godzilla he is a fbc maran, cream owly one eye santa some of our ee,blue girls I think 1 is a boy tho they are birchen marans, angel wheaten maran, blue is a blrw. that's just some of ours.

Caspar - a white EE (brown eggs.....grrrrrrr....)
'Tard Chicken - a charcoal olive egger (she's not the smartest hen)
Specks - charcoal EE (also brown eggs! GRRRRRR!!!!!)
Cholula - an angry production red
Little - a bantam cochin
Ania - a golden laced polish
Muffy - a golden chipmunk EE (she BETTER not start laying brown eggs)
Nahiku - a buff Orpington (a town on Maui)

We also had a black true ameraucana who we had named Skye, unfortunately Skye turned into Steve the Rooster and we rehomed him and our other australorp roo who we named The Colonel.
