We have DJ, PJ, and OJ. DJ after my sone since it hatched on his birthday. He had it named the day we set it since we knew that's when it should hatch. PJ after his previous teacher who hatched them since it was hatched on her birthday. OJ is a bantam barred rock that my son just had to have to replace our barred rock that got killed by a hawk last fall. OJ stands for Oreo Junior. The newest babies dont have official names but one I call Spots because of the spots on its head and another is yellowish with black stripes around its eyes that look like a mask so it has been dubbed Black Canary.

Ooh I like the mother clucker. I may have to borrow that for one of my barred rock babes. (They are the two who remain nameless in my flock)

Merida (cuckoo maran who is rather brave *womp womp*
egwene (named after a character in a book series who is pretty awesome...my other cuckoo maran)
Sam (named by my sibling after the muppets character Sam the Eagle - not sure if Sam is a roo or not, still too young but has very distinctive markings...amuricana)
Brown Betty (my other amuricana)
Burrito (hubs and I watched despicable me 2 - one of the characters has a guard/attack chicken named burrito. Hubs made me promise I'd name a chick burrito...and she gets very enthusiastic when eating from my hand...red sexlink)
Nacho (my other red sex link - she's also pretty eager to eat!)

My two barred rocks...we'll figure out names for them at some point. Perhaps I will borrow mother clucker though

We recently got our first 4 chicks ever, my husband named our little Dominique, Geoerge.....she is the sweetest baby, loves to be held and talked.

My daughter named the 2 golden Wyandottes, Llama and Chica.
I named our New Hampshire red, Banjo! They are all about 3 1/2 weeks now!

Our chicken's names are Chimi, Changa, Hennifer Lopez, Cluck Norris, Squawkine Phoenix, Lil Scratchy and Tusquack Shakur. We got a little out of control. :0)

My Austrolorp hens, Fluffy and Tweeter. (Tweeter who tweeted all the way home in the car ride from Wilco!

Our three Goldlaced Wyannotes are named Blanche, Rose, and Dorothy (from the golden girls). Our three silver Wyannotes will have old lady names but not sure what. Maybe Ethel, myrtle, and Gertrude...
